What you can import
- DriversFrom a spreadsheet, during setup or at any time afterwards.
- Trucks and trailersYour equipment list, with plates, VINs and units.
- LoadsCSV or Excel. Datatruck load exports and Amazon Relay trip exports are recognised without any mapping; for any other file, CarrierOn proposes what each column means and you confirm it.
- Fuel card statementsPosted to the truck each purchase belongs to.
- Tolls and customer paymentsEach imported from the file your provider or bank already gives you.
- Rate confirmationsForward them to your intake address or upload the PDF. Customers are created from them as you book.
A sensible order
- 1. Drivers and equipmentEverything else refers to them, and their files start the compliance record.
- 2. Rate confirmationsSet up forwarding so new freight arrives as loads to review.
- 3. Open loadsImport what is already booked or on the road, so dispatch starts complete.
- 4. StatementsFuel, tolls and payments, as each month closes.
Nothing is applied unseen
A spreadsheet import shows the columns it recognised and the ones it could not read. A file it cannot read at all is refused as a whole, rather than half imported.
